Laurie graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Administration and from there has tried everything from dog sitting to paralegal work to find the right fit for her. Laurie had tried yoga, but it was not until her first class at Hot Fitness that she became a dedicated yoga practitioner. Then, in early 2011 she completed the 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification with Ally Ford for Ashtanga Yoga. Soon thereafter, she didn't hesitate to give up her corporate job in order to guide classes daily.
Throughout it all, she discovered that her health, nutrition and fitness were the most important. Laurie strives to reach her students through yoga, promoting the philiosophy that there is nothing more important then your health, mental, physical, emotional and spritual health. She firmly believes yoga can transform your life, if you let it. |
